Diagnostic gynecological pathology covers a wide range of diseases, many with complex histological variants. Advances, especially in molecular genetics, have led to new entity recognition, reclassification, and refined diagnostic criteria, highlighting the need for continuous education. In response to this rapidly evolving landscape, the World Health Organization is currently revising the Blue Book to incorporate the most recent evidence and expert consensus. While offering in-depth coverage across the field of gynecological pathology, the course emphasizes practical diagnostic approaches, morphologic assessment, and the application of ancillary techniques – particularly in the context of newly defined disease classifications and diagnostic criteria.
This course is a collaboration between the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists (ISGyP) and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP).
