Description
NYU Langone’s Head to Toe Imaging is an intensive online educational program that delivers a comprehensive review of essential and advanced imaging techniques across all major modalities. Presented by a multidisciplinary team of expert radiologists and clinicians, the program emphasizes standardized imaging strategies, clinical decision support, patient safety, quality improvement, and cost-effective imaging.
Under the direction of Georgeann McGuinness, MD, FACR, the course features case-based sessions designed to help clinicians integrate current imaging protocols into daily practice. Topics span the full spectrum of imaging, from emergency and thoracic imaging to neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, breast, pediatric, interventional, and nuclear medicine.
💯 Educational Objectives
After completing this program, participants should be able to:
-
Integrate current imaging techniques and protocols across subspecialties into clinical practice
-
Apply appropriate imaging strategies to guide diagnosis, therapy selection, and treatment response
-
Describe current imaging methods for deep pelvic endometriosis
-
Recognize acute, subacute, and long-term imaging manifestations of COVID-19
-
Optimize the use of CT, MR, and PET imaging to stage neoplasms with minimal cost and radiation exposure
-
Develop imaging protocols that enhance radiation safety and dose reduction without compromising diagnostic accuracy
