Course Description
This Electrophysiology Online Board Review Course provides a comprehensive overview of cardiovascular electrophysiology for cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and electrophysiology fellows. Led by experts in the field, the program delivers in-depth, state-of-the-art instruction covering arrhythmia mechanisms, diagnostic strategies, catheter-based therapies, and device management.
The course is specifically designed to support graduating electrophysiology fellows by emphasizing key practical elements required for arrhythmia and device management. It also serves as a structured review for clinicians preparing for electrophysiology board examinations or recertification, as well as for practicing electrophysiologists seeking to refresh and update their knowledge.
The curriculum spans the full spectrum of electrophysiology practice, from fundamental arrhythmia physiology and pharmacology to advanced catheter ablation techniques and device-based interventions. Content is delivered through a personalized online learning platform, allowing learners to complete a pre-assessment, identify knowledge gaps, and follow a customized study guide. Educational resources include video lectures, streaming audio, PowerPoint presentations, learning objectives, journal references, guidelines, and board-focused clinical pearls.
💯 Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
-
Describe the basic physiology of myocardial excitability
-
Differentiate the electrophysiological mechanisms of arrhythmogenesis
-
Apply current guidelines for the management of heart rhythm disorders
